Upcoming Events at George Washington's
Gristmill and Distillery Site

Archaeology in action! The distillery site is located at George Washington's Gristmill, 1/2 mile east of the intersection of Routes 1 and 235 in Mount Vernon, Virginia. The restored gristmill is open everyday from 10am to 5pm. Admission - Adults: $4.00; Children: $2.00; Children under 6: FREE. Before you come visit us, you can call 703-799-6314 to find out if archaeologists are working in the lab because of inclement weather.
